Museum collection guide

Gunther's museum takes 95 artifacts and minerals. Donating everything earns A Complete Collection and a Stardrop, and plenty of rewards along the way: seeds, furniture and, at 60 donations, the Rusty Key to the sewers.

Minerals mostly come from geodes, which Clint at the blacksmith opens for 25g each. Artifacts come from artifact spots (the wiggling worms in the dirt, dug with a hoe), fishing treasure, monsters and digging in the Mines.

Each item on this page lists where it turns up, so you can see which geodes to crack or where to dig next.

Which museum items are hardest to find?

The rare artifacts with only a few sources, like the Strange Dolls and the Prehistoric bones, take the longest. Dig every artifact spot you see, and keep cracking Artifact Troves and geodes.

Does the museum count for Perfection?

Only through its Stardrop: A Complete Collection gives one, and every Stardrop counts. Donating doesn't count on its own.
