Privacy and cookies
Short version: your checklists stay in your browser, and analytics cookies are only used if you say yes.
Your checklists
Your progress, farms, playthroughs and settings are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are never sent to this site's server, and there's no account. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them, so use Export progress on a game's page if you want a backup.
Importing a save file: the file is read inside your browser and isn't uploaded anywhere.
Sharing a farm by link: the progress goes in the part of the link after the #, which
browsers don't send to the server. Anyone you give the link to can see that farm's progress.
Importing Steam achievements: the profile name or link you enter is sent to this site's server, which asks Steam for that profile's public achievements and passes them back to you. The answer is kept in memory for a short while so repeat lookups are faster, and isn't stored or logged.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people use, so effort goes where it's useful. When you first visit, a banner asks whether that's OK.
- If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (
_gaand_ga_*, kept for up to 2 years) to count visits and tell new visitors from returning ones. - If you choose No thanks, no analytics cookies are set. Google still receives a basic, cookieless signal that a page was viewed, which it uses to estimate visitor numbers without identifying you.
Google Analytics receives details such as the page you viewed, the page that sent you here, your browser and device type, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. Google doesn't store your full IP address. This site doesn't use advertising cookies, and doesn't use Google Analytics data for ads. Google's own use is described in Google's privacy policy.
You can change your choice at any time with (also at the bottom of every page).
Other things stored in your browser
The site also saves your light or dark mode, your spoiler setting and your cookie choice in local storage. These are only used by the site in your browser and aren't sent anywhere.
Hosting
The site is served through Cloudflare, which handles every request and protects the site from attacks. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver pages; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask what data is held about you, and ask for it to be deleted. This site itself holds nothing that identifies you; for Google Analytics data, email the address below and it will be removed where Google's tools allow it. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
